Storm Stoppers® was proud to be a part of
ABC's hit show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Now in its third season, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
has brought extreme joy to dozens of deserving
families by radically transforming homes...and
lives.
Each episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is
self-contained and features a race against time on a
project that would ordinarily take at least four
months to achieve, involving a team of designers,
contractors and
several hundred workers who have just seven days to
totally rebuild an entire house -- every single
room, plus the exterior and landscaping.
Storm Stoppers® donated over $6,000
of Original 3/8" Storm Stoppers®
hurricane protection panels to Sadie Holmes, owner
of the Extreme Makeover home in Altamonte Springs,
Florida. Extreme Makeover: Home Edition aired a 2
hour special regarding this special family on Sunday April 2, 2006.
Storm Stoppers® organized the National
Broadcast Viewing Party that occurred on the grounds
of the home that evening. There was a tent set up to
the left of the home with a big screen TV showing
the live feed of the broadcast. Catered barbeque
from Bubbalou's fed approximately 200 invited guests
and VIP's, among them Orlando Sentinel Columnist
Scott Maxwell & music manager Johnny Wright from
Wright Entertainment Group. A great time was had by
all!
