Regarding the Uniform Mitigation Verification
Inspection Form (OIR-B1-1802 rev 07/07), please
note that Original 3/8” & Super 1/2" Storm Stoppers®
meet the last criteria in
Section 8, Opening
Protection (page 2).
This criteria is:
“ASTM E 1886 and
ASTM E 1996 Missile Level C.” Original
3/8” Storm Stoppers® were Lab Impact Tested to ASTM
E 1886 and ASTM E 1996 Standards using Missile Level
C. Super 1/2" Storm Stoppers® were Lab Impact
Tested to ASTM E 1886 and ASTM E 1996 Standards
using Missile Level D, which “grandfathers in”
Missile Level C. This information is reflected in
Storm Stoppers® respective Original 3/8” and Super
1/2" Lab Impact Test Reports, which are available
at no charge
for all Storm Stoppers® customers and My Safe
Florida Home Mitigation Inspectors.
To
get a certified copy of our Lab Test Report, please
fill out the contact us
form
with “Certified Test Report Request” in the
description area. We will need a copy of the customer’s
original purchase invoice to prove the customer has
Storm Stoppers®. The original invoice will also
show which Storm Stoppers® product (i.e. Original
3/8” or Super 1/2") the customer has. Please fax
this to us at
407-423-1107. Once we receive this
information, we will process your request and mail
the customer a certified copy of the Lab Impact Test
report within 48 hours. The certified Test Report
is printed on a special “Kan’t Kopy” paper and will
produce an “Unauthorized Duplication” message if
faxed, scanned or copied. Thus, it is only possible
to mail it to the customer.
